Warranty

DISCLAIMER: NO OTHER WARRANTY HAS BEEN PRODUCED ON BEHALF OF ROMINA FURNITURE. ALL PARTS, REPAIRS AND/OR REPLACEMENTS FOR DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS, ARE COVERED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF A ROMINA PRODUCT AND IT IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. THE TERM “DEFECTS” IS DEFINED AS IMPERFECTIONS WHICH IMPAIR THE USE OF THE PRODUCT. INDIVIDUAL RETAILERS MAY OFFER CUSTOM, EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE OR LIABILITY. ROMINA FURNITURE WILL NOT BE SUBJECTED NOR LIABLE TO HONOR OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE FULFILLMENT OF THESE SEPARATE WARRANTIES, ISSUED BY PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS. ROMINA FURNITURE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOSS OF USE, INCONVENIENCE, DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, ETC. IN NO EVENT SHALL ROMINA FURNITURE’S RESPONSIBILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS REPLACEMENT.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

Wood is a natural material prone to variations and imperfections which cannot be foreseen or prevented. Beech species is a high-density straight wood which may vary in color from light blonde to orange or soft red. The grain pattern presents unique features like “bird eye”, “fiddle back” curly lines or light speckles. It is the nature and beauty of solid wood to vary in appearance and characteristics for no two trees are alike. Wood swatches, color samples, pictures or other marketing materials are an accurate, reasonable but not exact representation of the actual furniture and finish you will receive.

MANUFACTURER LIMITED WARRANTY

The following Limited Warranties have been provided by Romina Furniture to the “original purchaser” of products under our trademark. Warranty provisions will be applied upon specialized expertise of an authorized representative of Romina Furniture or an approved certified furniture specialist. If a service request for a replacement part is unavailable, Romina Furniture reserves the right to substitute replacement parts or products with materials or products of equal or better quality. Replacement parts may vary in color from the original though it is highly unintended. To obtain warranty services for any replacement parts or repairs requested within the time duration stated, the purchaser must comply with the requirements set forth in this warranty. Romina Furniture also reserves the right to request that all damaged items be shipped back to our distribution center in original packaging before or after proceeding to repair or replacement. Any items repaired or replaced under this limited warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty time duration only. Any and all alterations of the furniture’s original design will automatically void this warranty coverage.

CRIBS
All cribs manufactured and distributed under Romina Furniture trademark are provided a 3 years warranty against manufacturing defects and will be repaired and/or replaced for the duration of this warranty if the aforesaid product cannot be used in accordance with its original design or in safety conditions; customer’ fault or damages or defects caused by a third party entity are not covered under this warranty. All defects or damages related to the wood construction, hardware and all structural components (excluding the finished surface) are covered under this warranty. The coverage period extends 3 years from the date the furniture is taken possession by the original customer.

CASE GOODS
Individual “Case goods” referred to as “all other items aside from cribs”, are provided a 1 year limited warranty following the original date of purchase. Any defective or damaged items will be repaired and/or if necessary replaced by Romina Furniture at no charge if the furniture does not retain its original quality while used in accordance with manufacturing specification and common guidelines pertaining the product intended design; this warranty does not extend to the finished surface which is the sole responsibility of the buyer/owner to preserve and protect.

HARDWARE
All hardware used in conjunction with Romina Furniture products is replaceable under the duration of the warranty of the respective product category. Should any of our hardware be defective or become faulty while in use, Romina Furniture will repair or replace aforesaid components with similar or better one. Drawer glides and door hinges are provided individual warranty from their German manufacturer which is 80,000 cycles.

THIRD-PARTY DAMAGE

This warranty does not cover damages of defects caused by the retailer, the customer a shipping carrier or any other third party organization affiliated or not affiliated with Romina Furniture. Any such claims must be disputed with the respective “third-party” which shall be exclusively liable to remedy the damage or defect under these circumstances.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

At Romina Furniture we take pride in exceptional quality and craftsmanship of our products. Our attention to detail and emphasis on quality control is a vital part of our operation. Our products are custom made to order and no re-stocking program exists in place. We accept cancellations within 24 hours of the order date and order revisions within 7 days of the confirmation; no other changes can be made after this date time interval and no orders are refundable. Given inherent aspects pertaining to children products and governing regulations, we do not accept exchanges or returns for any of our products.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

Shall there be a defect or damage of which you feel this warranty covers, you must contact the authorized retailer where you made the purchase or, if this option is no longer available you must contact contact Romina Furniture directly via Contact Us form. The original bill of sale and payment receipt/proof are necessary for the fulfillment of this warranty. All shipping and/or handling related damage claims must be made within 7 days of the receipt of the goods. Any claim for warranty service and/or replacement must be accompanied by  pertinent information such as photo proof and documentation supporting the claims made. If warrantied defect and/or damage is identified, the authorized retailer shall contact Romina Furniture to establish service. If you live outside our delivery service area or if you relocated more than 50 miles from the original delivery address, you may be responsible for service fees and/or shipping cost for returning the product to the nearest Romina retailer. For superficial defects and/or damages which does not prevent the customer from utilizing a product according to its intended purpose,  Romina Furniture reserves its right to authorize the retailer or its representative to make such repairs upon contacting Romina Furniture’s Customer Service department in advance.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Because of natural variations of wood and the hand-finishing techniques as well as other inner material properties not expressed in this warranty, products appearance may vary from piece to piece. This warranty does not cover such variations or any differences between floor models, color samples or printed illustrations and your furniture. This warranty does not cover used product sold in “as-is” condition. This warranty is extended to the original owner of Romina furniture making a purchase directly thru our company or thru an authorized Romina Furniture retailer. Any alteration to the original design of the product, performed by the customer, a retailer or a third party organization without the express consent of the manufacturer will void all product warranties set forth in this document.
